Course

This section contains information regarding the course that is important to parents/guardians and to their young athletes. Age groups will have different course lengths in the swim, bike and run events. Reading and following these instructions will help assure that race day will be safe and enjoyable for kids and adults alike.

Swim

Swimming

The swim portion will be in the pool and athletes are welcome to wear flotation devices. Lifeguards will be present to ensure the safety of everyone. There will be marked staging areas for the different colored wave starts and athletes can congregate in those areas prior to entering the water. Volunteers will direct athletes from their staging area to the pool deck to swim. After swimming, there will be signage and volunteers to direct athletes to the Transition Area located in the parking lot.

The athletes will be running loops around the baseball field area and the number of loops will depend on their wave. Athletes are responsible for counting their own loops.
