This section contains information that is important to parents/guardians and to their young athletes. Reading and following these instructions will help assure that race day will be a safe and enjoyable day for kids and adults alike.
Choosing a Distance
Since this event's purpose is for fun and a good experience, your child can choose to participate in whatever distance they are comfortable with.
Check-In
You need to check in for the Tri Fusion Kids Triathlon on race day to get body marked at the registration table. Race packet pick up (with T-shirt and goody bag) will be available race morning as well as at Fitness Fanatics on Friday, July 25th from 3-7pm. Check-in will be held on the morning of the event beginning at 9:00am. We suggest not checking in too early. You may check in at a time that is convenient based on your child's age group swim start time, see below for details. Signs will direct you to the Registration Table. We encourage you to register prior to race day as there is a 150 participant limit.
Age Group Swim Start Times
We will be starting the triathlon by age groups beginning with the oldest (11 thru 12) and ending with the youngest (5 thru 6).
The following table shows the estimated (subject to updates) starting times for each age-group. Your athlete must be at the event no less than 45-60 minutes before their age-group start time to allow time to set up his/her transition area and be ready to swim. Your race packet will have your athletes specific wave start time.

Parking
Parents can do a drop off at the Camp Gifford entrance, but please park cars along Larch and Hemlock streets (volunteers will be directing traffic).
